A Chinese repair site released photos Sunday of what it claims is the Apple's new iPhone 5, which it purportedly built using leaked parts.

The phone features a smaller dock connector, what looks to be an elongated display, a centered FaceTime camera and a rear plate dominated by a metal panel. The images match up with other reports of what the next iPhone could look like, according to Wired.

ILab also released pictures of the phone's individual components like home buttons and volume keys.

Reports of leaked iPhone 5 parts and pictures are nothing new, but this is the most complete version that's made its way around the tech blogosphere to date.

More from GlobalPost: Apple: Third quarter earnings miss the mark

Apple still isn't confirming a timeline for the arrival of the iPhone 5, although CEO Tim Cook did drop a few hints in a recent conference call that something new may be in the works and coming soon, CNET reported.

Other media outlets have reported the new phone will go on sale Friday, Sept. 21.

Apple delivered a rare earnings statement disappointment last week with lower-than-expected iPhone sales, selling 26 million iPhones in the quarter that ended June 30. That's a 28 percent increase from the same quarter a year ago but down from the 35.1 million sold in the prior quarter this year, the Wall Street Journal reported.
