6 seconds of porn: Twitter’s Vine app makes porn ‘editor’s pick’ (VIDEO)

Twitter's Vine app has a porn problem (already).
Less than a week after it was unveiled, the video sharing service is facing mounting criticism after a graphic porn clip was named "editor's pick," BBC News reported.

The six-second video appeared Monday at the top of users' home screens covered by a warning notice.
Word spread on Twitter, and the image was soon removed, but not before it gained a "Popular now" ranking, according to The Telegraph.
Twitter quickly apologized, blaming the gaffe on "human error."

But it's not the first porn video to appear on the video sharing service unveiled Thursday.
In fact, Vine has become a popular venue for videos of men and women's genitalia and porn taped off televisions and laptops, according to CNET.
Searches for #porn, #sex and similar hashtags produce a wide variety of scintillating, and sometimes offensive, clips, The Daily Dot reported.
Vine's terms of service don't specifically prohibit sexual content, though. Twitter has encouraged users to use good judgment when posting videos. Users can also flag videos they find offensive.
