The move was likely in response to mortar fire from Gaza earlier in the day.
According to a report by Hamas, the strikes hit an abandoned building.
No casualties were reported.
Tuesday's strike comes after the air force bombed two underground rocket launchers in northern Gaza last Thursday following a mortar attack on southern Israel earlier in the day.
Also on Tuesday, a Palestinian was killed and four others were injured in an accidental explosion in Gaza City, the Palestinian Ma'an news agency reported.
