Shoppers pass a Primark clothing shop in central London, April 25, 2013. UK clothing retailer Primark, which has 257 stores across Europe and is a unit of Associated British Foods, confirmed that one of its suppliers occupied the second floor of a building that collapsed in Bangladesh killing at least 228 people.
The British clothing retailer, Primark, has said it will compensate some of the victims and families of victims of the collapsed garment factory complex in Bangladesh.
Primark said it will help people who worked for its supplier in the building.
The World’s Leo Hornak asked shoppers outside of a Primark in London if they were concerned about where the retailer’s clothes were made.
