At a White House press conference on Friday, President Obama was asked to comment on the Trayvon Martin case. He went on to express his sympathy to the 17-year-old shooting victim’s parents. “You know, if I had a son he’d look like Trayvon, and I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves,” he said.
