It may not be an angelic ending, but the last primary votes will be made tomorrow, and it looks like Barack Obama is going to be the Democratic nominee. According to professor Boone, the DNC ruling was the closest the party could come to unity and still claim to give Hillary Clinton some concession.
Boone says Clinton has to think not just in terms of the presidential nomination she’s lost, but also about what she’s going to do once she returns to the Senate — what will her power base be within the Democratic party, and whether she will lose her influence there.
