White Firefighters: Race, Affirmative Action and the Court

The Supreme Court ruled yesterday in favor of a group of white firefighters in New Haven, Connecticut, saying they had been discriminated against. The ruling could have implications for President Obama’s Supreme Court Nominee Sonia Sotomayor.
