At the time Clinton said Bush should and probably will pick up the name. Bush has had no problem remembering Musharraf’s name since then. Another name giving candidates trouble now is Medvedev, as shown by Hillary Clinton of Russia’s now president-elect. Medvedev is trickier than Putin. This language expert says Obama’s name just feels right. Clinton has a definite rhythmic quality to it. but not all names are simple. Iran’s President’s name was difficult at first as well.
