What happens to the deported when they return to their native countries after years – sometimes decades – in the U.S.? And what about their children, who are American citizens? Peter O’Dowd, news director at KJZZ-Phoenix, just returned from a trip to Guatemala, where he found out what it is like for deportees to return to their home countries.
