An unwanted adoption infuriates Russia

Thought to be improving all week long, the ever tenuous U.S.-Russian relationship took a turn when news broke that an American woman sent her adopted seven-year-old Russian child back home, alone on a plane with a note saying he was no longer wanted.

We’re joined by Moscow-based biologist, mother, and orphanage volunteer Natalia Levina, who gives us a glimpse of her own experiences. And Victoria Belova, managing editor of Novoje Russkoe Slovo (The New Russian Word), the largest Russian-language newspaper in the United States.
