Unemployment at 6.7% — and that’s a lagging indicator

… And the leading indicators aren’t looking any better. The latest jobless numbers are out this morning, with a 6.7 percent rise in unemployment and a loss of 533,000 jobs in November. That’s the 11th consecutive monthly decline.
