UConn Huskies’ Winning Streak Broken By Stanford
Last night the UConn Women basketball team’s winning streak ? 90 games and two years running ? was broken by Stanford University’s team. The final score was 71-59. For UConn fans it’s a shame, while others might be relieved to see the Northeast power house finally defeated. We’re joined by Takeaway listener Helen Wheelock, a die-hard UConn fan, for her reaction.
