Space Shuttle – Blasting Away at Ozone

Chlorine is considered the most important chemical in ozone depletion. Each launch of the space shuttle releases the equivalent of 400,000 refrigerators worth of chlorine into the atmosphere. WBUR’s David Baron reports.
