The Takeaway

On Thursday, President Obama plans to deliver an important speech regarding his Administration’s Middle East policy. For first time since demonstrations and political revolutions began sweeping across the Middle East and Northern Africa, President Obama will likely address specific countries, including Bahrain and Yemen.  The Takeaway hosts a round table discussion with Arab-Americans, who share their expectations, and hopes for U.S. involvement in their home countries. Nancy Yousef  came to America from Egypt, and now works as a Professor of English Literature at CUNY Baruch in New York;  Naima Nour  moved to the US from Tunisia 10 years ago and is the founder and director of the Tunisian Cultural & Information Center USA.
