Pl-cido Domingo’s new goal

The World
The World

I did it a few years back in London, Madrid, and then with a company in Washington. And finally also it came rather something new to do a simulcast but in the cinemas. (Did you see the reaction in the audience?) Yes, it’s fabulous to see their reaction. They are now charging more than at first, so I know it’s successful. In the New York area, we had 25 cinema showings and it’s successful, but in a few years we’ll be all around the world and hopefully even some TV stations. (We hear things are happening in the other direction with classical music so what gives you that hope?) To appeal to the youth is very important. There is a lot of new public going to these simulcasts and they’re probably new youths and new dollars.
