She’s a Pakistani woman who battled to redeem herself and fight the social establishment after a local Pakistani tribal council ordered she be gang-raped as retribution for a crime her brother allegedly committed. That was in 2002. This weekend, Mukhtar Mai broke another social taboo and got married.
