Head injuries hurt young athletes

Head injuries among pro football players are much discussed. But a forum in Texas is looking at how much they affect younger sports players. The House Judiciary Committee is in the state today to host a forum on head injuries in high school and college football.

Texas is one of only three states that has a law dealing with the treatment and prevention of head injuries in high school sports. We find out what the Congress ? and the country ? can learn from the Texas law. We talk to Dr. Bennet Omalu, neuropathologist and co-founder of the Brain Injury Research Institute at West Virginia University.
