We’re throwing you a knuckleball for today’s Geo Quiz.

A knuckle ball doesn’t come straight at you….it dances, drops, and often eludes even the best hitters in professional baseball. That’s why scouts are always on the look-out for a good knuckleballer….

Like Eri Yoshida. She throws a mean, sidearm pitch. And she’s set to become the first woman to play professional baseball in Japan.

The 16 year old said she was surprised to be rafted…but when she was chosen she says she decided to “gather her spirits and do her best.”

What we want YOU to do is name the team that drafted her. The team’s from the capital of Hyogo Prefecture. It’s one of Japan’s 10 largest cities in fact. And it was hard hit by an earthquake in 1995.

Think quick — we’re gonna pitch you the answer here…

We’re going straight to the answer today. The answer is Kobe, Japan.
