Anchor Marco Werman speaks with Tammy Axelsson, mayor of Gimli, Manitoba. The Canadian town is nicknamed “West Iceland” because it has a relatively large Icelandic population. Town residents say there could be a new wave of immigrants from Iceland now that the home country is going through tough economic times.
