In February, Israeli producer Noy Alooshe’s mashup video featuring a fist-waving Col. Muammar Gaddafi went viral. Alooshe said the Libyan leader’s shouts of “zenga zenga” — or “alley by alley” — reminded him of a dance track.
Now Alooshe has taken inspiration from another arm waving leader … this one closer to home.
The new video is called “Bibi Shake Shake” and it features Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, also known as Bibi. In the video Netanyahu is featured in an interview spliced with scenes of Israelis out in the streets. Alooshe is taking aim at Netanyahu’s comments that the kinds of uprisings seen in Arab countries won’t happen in Israel.
Over the weekend more than 100,000 Israelis were out protesting the high cost of housing, education and health care.
