President Obama spoke at an interfaith memorial service for the victims of the bombings in Boston on Thursday.

He was joined by a litany of religious figures from around the Boston area — Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Muslim faiths.

One of those who spoke was Nasser Weddady. He is chair of the New England Interfaith Council and offered a personal story from when he was a child in Syria to help provide comfort to those shaken by Monday’s attacks.
