Taxi-hailing apps offer unexpected benefit to minority riders
A group of taxi-hailing apps have taken off in cities with notoriously poor taxi services, but not in New York. Despite the slow start, minorities in New York have found unexpected success hailing cabs that may have previously driven by them out of fear and discrimination.
