Environmental issues were key factors in deciding the fate of this western state’s mid-term elections.

Jyl Hoyt of member station KBSX in Boise, Idaho, looks at the reaction to the National Park Service announcement that it will impose new restrictions on recreational snowmobiling at many of the country’s national parks.

We speak with Marc Johnson, the president of Gallatin Public Affairs in Boise. He tells us that the community in Idaho has reacted in a characteristically reserved way to the story of alleged kidnapping.
