Kurt Andersen and author Ayelet Waldman talk about the magnetism of mysteries.
Waldman is the author of the Mommy-track mysteries, Nursery Crimes and The Big Nap— thrillers that mix child-rearing with sleuthing. She is an adjunct professor at Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley and was a former public defender in Los Angeles. Her third mystery, A Playdate With Death, will be published this June.
