Steve Jobs funeral held in private: reports

A private funeral for Steve Jobs, the Apple co-founder who died Wednesday, was taking place Friday, the Wall Street Journal cited a person familiar with the matter as saying.
ABC News confirmed "with a person familiar with the matter," and reported that the time and location of the funeral was not known.
Jobs was survived by his wife, Laurene Powell, whom he married in 1991, and three children, Reed Paul, Erin Sienna and Eve.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company was planning "a celebration of Steve’s extraordinary life for Apple employees that will take place soon," the ABC added.
An Apple spokesman told the paper that no public memorial had been planned, and the WSJ quoted its source as saying the funeral would be "a small private gathering."
Jobs' death from an undisclosed illness prompted tributes from the tech industry's biggest names, along with world leaders and his legion of fans wordlwide.
