Occupy Wall Street protesters interrupt Bachmann speech (VIDEO)

Occupy Wall Street protesters in South Carolina interrupted a speech by Republican presidential candidate and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann on Thursday, CBS News reports.
According to CBS, Bachmann was about eight minutes into a speech on foreign policy when a few dozen members of Occupy Charleston stood up and began speaking in their now famous call-and-response style. Bachmann stood at the podium for a few moments before leaving. She later returned to finish her speech. Meanwhile, Bachmann supporters tried to quiet the Occupy members with shouts of their own.

ABC News 4 in Charleston later obtained a statement released by Occupy Charleston.
"Today Occupy Charleston invoked the first amendment at a speech by presidential candidate Michele Bachmann," the statement said. "Together in unison we took advantage of the moment to address the system and the people within it as to the unjust role of corporate money in politics. Michele Bachmann was not our target in this action; she is a representative of the institutional and legal corruption that has infected our country–a system of corruption that values profit over people and is driven by the financial interests of the few against the many."
