Another Republican caught with his pants down — this time in Puerto Rico.
Apparently, Sen. Roberto Arango, who represents the capital of San Juan, posted nude photos of himself, one in a rather compromising position, on a site for gay and bisexual men.
Yes, go ahead and look if you must.
Here’s the awkward part: He’s married — to a woman — and they have a child together.
Arango hasn’t exactly been a big supporter of gay rights, either, having voted in favor of a measure to prevent same-sex marriage on the island. He also opposed adoption rights for gays.
The sad part is, in opposing a more welcoming environment for gays, Arango was making it that much more difficult for people like himself to live happy, fulfilled lives.
Naturally, Arango issued the classic non-denial denial in the beginning of the sandal. He told a TV station in PR:
"I really don't remember having taken those pictures of myself, but it doesn't mean I didn't take them. I really don't remember."
And then the photos went viral.
And then he resigned, the end.
