A Chicago-area man pulled over by police said he was doing 111 mph in a 45 mph zone because he was “trying to go have sex with a girl he liked," police said.

Zachary P. Ramirez, 21, was charged with speeding 40 mph or more over the limit, reckless driving, disobeying a traffic control signal, disobeying a stop sign and possession of 2.5 grams or less of marijuana, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

His troubles began at 2:06 a.m. Saturday, when an officer near the Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve in Naperville clocked Ramirez’s black 1994 Honda Prelude going 111 mph, according to Chicago TV station WMAQ.

Police Sgt. Gregg Bell told the Sun-Times that Ramirez also ran a red light and a stop sign before he was pulled over.
