Yoko Ono clothing line for Opening Ceremony inspired by John Lennon

Yoko Ono has designed what some have called a "wacky" men's clothing line for Opening Ceremony inspired by John Lennon.

The line includes mesh tops, crystal-studded toe-less boots, a "butt hoodie," and some very carefully placed handprints, according to UPI. The collection, "Yoko Ono Fashions for Men 1969-2012," was based on original sketches the famous artist drew herself as a gift for her late husband on their wedding day in 1969.

"I was inspired to create 'Fashions for Men' amazed at how my man was looking so great. I felt it was a pity if we could not make clothes emphasizing his very sexy bod," Ono told Women's Wear Daily. "So, I made this whole series with love for his hot bod and gave it to him as a wedding present. You can imagine how he went wild and fell in love with me even more."

Ono had released a book of the illustrations with the same name, and Opening Ceremony hosted a book signing at its SoHo store, which led to the collaboration, reported NBC's The Look. The limited-edition collection launched Tuesday. Items run from a $25 poster, to a $200 jock strap, to a $750 pair of boots with either open toes or an incense holder.
