Watching porn makes you support gay marriage: study

A new study has shown that watching porn increases one's support for gay marriage.
Researchers at Indiana University found that as men watch porn, their attitudes on same-sex marriage begin to change.
The National Science Foundation-funded study looked at previous studies comprising 500 heterosexual males over six years.
They used comparison of their porn-watching habits with their support for gay marriage.
The findings show that those men who regularly watched porn were either supportive or became increasingly supportive of gay marriage, reported the Washington Examiner.
The effect worked only in less-educated men with no effect on more educated men.
It is believed that porn makes them more open to things.
“Our study suggests that the more heterosexual men, especially less educated heterosexual men, watch pornography, the more supportive they become of same-sex marriage,” lead author, Paul Wright, told The Washington Examiner.
“Pornography adopts an individualistic, non-judgmental stance on all kinds of non-traditional sexual behaviors and same-sex marriage attitudes are strongly linked to attitudes about same-sex sex."
It is believed that about 30 percent of all internet traffic is porn.
The findings were published in the journal Communication Research.
