Deputies forced their way into the 67-year-old woman's home and found her pinned under the dresser. She told authorities she had been moving furniture when the dresser fell on top of her, according to The Oregonian.

She suffered injuries to both legs and was slipping in and out of consciousness after not having food or water for so long, but was taken to a local hospital and released on Saturday, authorities said.

Cartier is now recovering at the home of a friend, according to The Associated Press.
