State of Undress: Sexting, drunk driving and dating drug dealers at the FBI

A new disciplinary report leaked to the press shows that the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is made up of people just like you and me – if we dated drug dealers, sexted on the regular and drove drunk.

The CNN-revealed report said the an employee was fired for sleeping with a drug dealer and lying about it under oath, said Reuters.

Another employee was fired for bugging the boss's office.

The report by the Office of Professional Responsibility, not for public consumption, listed 29 other cases investigated by the office.

CNN reported that the Bureau was facing a rash of 'sexting' incidents that have led to suspensions.

"We have seen a rash of sexting cases and nude photograph cases, you know, people misusing their BlackBerrys for this reason, and we hope getting the message out in the quarterlies is going to teach people you can't do this stuff," FBI assistant director Candice Will told CNN.

"When you're given an FBI BlackBerry, it's for official use. It's not to text the woman in another office who you found attractive a picture of yourself in a state of undress."

There were plenty of other misdeeds.

One man got caught visiting a massage parlor and received a 14-day suspension, reported the Independent.

Two employees were caught drinking and driving.

One employee was found to be purchasing and viewing videos of naked boys and was fired.

The above examples make two suspensions for mishandling evidence rather quaint.
