Snoop Dogg on his son smoking weed: “He is learning from the master”

Snoop Dogg says in a new interview with Hollywood Reporter, that he taught his son Corde to smoke marijuana.

When questioned about photos (see them bonding here) that surfaced of him and his son smoking weed together, he asked without hesitation, "What better way to [learn] than from the master?"

Snoop Dogg, or Snoop Lion as he is now called, told the magazine his refreshing philosophy to parenting was to not be hypocritical.

“My kids can do whatever the hell they want. For me to say otherwise would be hypocritical. A lot of motherfuckers don’t have a relationship with their kids, and that’s when they get on drugs and have suicidal thoughts and drive drunk. Me and my son is mellow. I’m his father, so I wanna show him the proper way because he looks up to me. What better way to get it than from the master?” he told the magazine, according to XXL.

The interview also veered into politics.

Snoop said that legalization of marijuana was a net positive that would reduce a number of social ills.

He said that the Netherlands might be a good model for the US:

“Go to Amsterdam or the Netherlands where it is legal and you see that the crime rate is nonexistent, the murder rate is probably under 10 percent, people learn to get along! There are people riding on bicycles being happy and it’s because of the environment that’s provided by the legalization of marijuana,” XXL reported him saying.

In other questionable life decisions, rumors swirl that Kanye and Kim (Kimye) are having a baby, reported SOHH.
