Poll: Obamacare repeal support falls to record low

Support for repealing the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, has hit a new low.
Just 33 percent of Americans still support repealing the health care reforms signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2010, the latest Kaiser Family Foundation tracking poll released Tuesday shows.

The drop comes as many Republicans are acknowledging that Obamacare is here to stay, The Hill reported.
House Speaker John Boehner told ABC's Diane Sawyer last week that "Obamacare is the law of the land" and said it would no longer be his mission to repeal it.

Boehner's office later tried to walk that statement back, but other Republicans have suggested similar views.
According to ABC News, 43 percent of Americans view the law favorably and 39 percent view it unfavorably.
Seven in 10 Americans cited Obamacare as a “major factor” in their decision in last week's presidential election, while seven in 10 also cited the future of Medicare as a “major factor” in their vote, the poll showed.
