Pippa Middleton to write food column for Waitrose Kitchen magazine

Pippa Middleton may have found the recipe for success.

The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge has agreed to write a cookery column for British supermarket chain Waitrose’s monthly magazine, Reuters reported.

The 29-year-old will give cooking tips and other advice on entertaining in her column, “Pippa’s Friday Night Feasts.”

"My column, 'Pippa's Friday Night Feasts', will be an exciting opportunity to share my own passion and enthusiasm for food and entertaining, and I can't wait to get started," she said in a statement, the Agence France-Presse reported.

The deal comes after Middleton released a party-planning book called “Celebrate” last year, which was widely panned by critics for stating the obvious, AFP said.

The London Evening Standard reported Middleton was also a guest diarist for The Spectator magazine before Christmas.

Middleton will be able to draw on her professional as well as personal experience for her new column – she has worked for her parent’s party planning business as well as London-based events organizer Table Talk.

The first kitchen-advice column will appear in the April edition of Waitrose Kitchen, which will feature a photo of Middleton on the cover, the Standard said.
