President Barack Obama has finalized his dinner plans for May 10, and he wants you to join him – at George Clooney’s Hollywood mansion.
The president’s campaign team organizes semi-regular fundraising dinners with Obama, USA Today reported, and next month’s is an open contest with a minimum $3 donation through Obama's website.
“He’s saving seats for two grassroots supporters,” the website reads. “One of them could be yours.”
Clooney’s political side is well publicized, and he recently met with Obama to speak with him about a humanitarian crisis in the Sudan, The Associated Press reported.

Now, Clooney is trying to raise $6 million for Obama by hosting the exclusive fundraiser, AFP reported.
He’s charging 150 of Hollywood’s elite $40,000 each to attend next month’s “Dinner with Barack.”
“George Clooney is doing his part to help re-elect the president, but he knows that it’s grassroots supporters like you who will decide this election,” Obama’s campaign re-election website reads.
Obama is gearing up for November’s election, where he’s widely expected to face Republican Mitt Romney.
The president raised $53 million in March, and $200 million overall, AFP said.
He spent $745 million during the 2008 campaign.
