A woman wearing a wedding dress was found stabbed to death in a bathtub in suburban Chicago just days after her wedding.
Estrella Carrera, 25, was found dead on Sunday afternoon by police conducting a well-being check requested by her sister. She married a 30-year-old Chicago man, whose named was not released, on Friday evening, ABC News reported.

An autopsy Monday ruled the death a "domestic-related" homicide, Burbank, Ill., police told the Chicago Sun-Times.
Carrera was last seen around 2 a.m. on Saturday, just hours after the wedding ceremony, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Her sister became concerned after Carrera failed to pick up her two children, ages 2 and 8, from the sister's care on Sunday, ABC News reported.

"We never thought this would happen, she was a strong woman. . .She loved her kids," Carrera's cousin, Jaime Lopez, told the Chicago Tribune. "Reality still hasn't hit me."
Neighbor Robert Louis called the case “shocking.”
“I don’t believe she was found in her wedding dress, with stab wounds. That’s just psychotic,” he told the local CBS TV station.
Another cousin, Sandy Lopez, told the Tribune that Carrera had married the father of her son, but told few people. The two had an off-and-on relationship for about three years, she said.
