New York: 67 dead cats found in woman’s freezer
A hair-raising discovery in New York state, where 67 dead cats and 99 living cats were found in a squalid home in Albany.
The animals were removed from the home of Irene Vandyke this week, the Albany Times Union reported.

According to police, the dead cats were packed in plastic bags in the freezer.
The living cats squatted in crates stacked floor to ceiling, The Associated Press reported.
Authorities made the grisly find after a neighbor called to complain about an overpowering odor of cat urine and feces, according to the Times Union.
