Michelle Obama has launched a new Twitter account, @FLOTUS.
The First Lady decided to make the announcement on Thursday, her 49th birthday, the Associated Press reported.
If you are wondering, FLOTUS stands for "First Lady of the United States."
Obama is hardly entirely new to Twitter, though.
The new account actually replaces her previous @MichelleObama handle, which she launched last year for the President's presidential re-election, the AP said.
The earlier account was run by President Obama's re-election team.
Fun fact: The First Lady said she will sign her personal tweets "-mo" so stay tuned, the AP said.
As a new CBS News/ New York Times poll shows, the First Lady is still quite popular.
Fifty-one percent of Americans have a favorable view of Mrs. Obama. She is particularly popular with Democrats and women.
