Japan supercar pile-up could be most expensive in history
Speeding has been named as a possible cause for one of Japan's most expensive road accidents in history: a pile-up of almost $4 million-worth of luxury supercars, the BBC reported.

Eight Ferraris, three Mercedes-Benz and a Lamborghini were among the crumpled mess left on a highway Sunday in the southern prefecture of Yamaguchi.
Witnesses said the accident was caused by a speeding car, traveling at up to 100 miles per hour, which slid across a wet road surface, Agence France Presse reported.
Other reports said the driver of one of the Ferraris had hit the median strip while attempting to change lanes.
A witness told Japanese broadcaster TBS that one of the cars “spun” and “they all ended up in this great mess."
The highway shut down for six hours after the accident but, miraculously perhaps, there were no major casualties.
Japanese newspaper The Asahi Shimbun said automobile enthusiasts were driving the sports cars in a convoy to Hiroshima, the BBC reported.
It is understood that some of the cars are beyond repair.
