Actress Claire Danes has given birth to a her first child, a boy, according to her publicist.
Reuters reported the "Homeland" star, who is married to British actor Hugh Dancy, gave birth Monday to Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy.
Danes' recently won an Emmy for her role as a CIA operative Carrie Matheson on the Showtime's series. Reuters said. The show took home an Emmy for best television drama.
The Los Angeles Times reported the baby arrived just one day after the show's finale for its second season.
As for her plans for the future?
"I would like to do a movie at some point, but I've got plenty on my plate and am totally sated,” Danes told the Times.
Danes began her acting career as a 15-year-old on the hit series show, "My So-Called Life."
