Florida butt-injection “doctor” charged with manslaughter

A phony doctor has been charged with manslaughter after one of his plastic surgery patients died. Oneal Ron Morris, from Florida, allegedly used bathroom caulk and the tire product Fix-A-Flat in surgeries, Reuters reported.

Morris' former patient Shatarka Nuby developed a fatal lung disease due to "massive systemic silicone migration," a medical examiner found. Before she died, Nuby wrote the Florida Department of Health to complain about the hardening and discoloration of her buttocks, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

Nuby had said that she paid Morris $2,000 for a range of illegal cosmetic surgeries over the years. Her family says that Morris used silicone from Home Depot and sealed injection sites with super glue, according to Reuters.

Witnesses recall seeing Morris inject a mysterious liquid substance into his patients. One witness could "see the butt rise" as the toxic mixture entered Nuby's body, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Morris appeared in bond court on Friday and was ordered to be held on a $150,000 bond, NBC reported.
