Cybill Shepherd is hoping for third-time lucky.
The 62-year-old actress is engaged to a Serbian jeweler-turned-therapist, according to the New York Daily News.
“I’m engaged,” Shepherd was quoted as saying. “He was a jeweler. Now, he’s a psychologist. He’s Serbian.”
He’s also romantic.
Shepherd’s husband-to-be, Andrei Nikolajevic, popped the question the old fashioned way in New York City.
“It was very romantic and on one knee,” Shepherd said. “I never thought I’d get married again.”
The “Moonlighting” star has been single for more than two decades, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Her former hubbies include David Ford and Bruce Oppenheim, who were also not part of the acting industry. She has three children.
According to the New York Daily News, Shepherd was flashing a very "gorgeous sparkler set in white gold" when she spoke to their theater critic.
Shepherd is currently making her Broadway debt in the revival of Gore Vidal’s 1960 play “The Best Man” which is set in a presidential nominating convention in Philadelphia.
She is performing alongside some other major names such as James Earl Jones, John Stamos, John Larroquette and Kristen Davis.
