Clint Eastwood’s baffling speech prompts ‘Invisible Obama’ memes

Clint Eastwood was the surprise guest at Thursday's final night of the Republican National Convention. Mitt Romney probably hoped the 82-year-old "Dirty Harry" actor would go ahead and make his day… but Eastwood delighted and confused listeners with a rambling speech directed to an empty chair next to him.
Eastwood spoke to an 'invisible Obama', criticizing him for everything from flying in Air Force One to not removing troops quickly enough from Afghanistan.
Eastwood's invisible Obama even told him to say something incredibly offensive to Romney, to which Eastwood replied, "I can't tell him to do that to himself … you're getting as bad as Biden … of course we all know Biden is the intellect of the Democratic Party. Kind of a grin with a body behind it …"
The actor even obliged the crowd by grumbling his signature phrase after someone shouted "make my day!" during the speech. At first Eastwood responded, "I don't say that word anymore."
But he quickly obliged leading with "Go ahead" and the crowd shouted back "MAKE MY DAY!"
By this morning, the Internet had already spawned its own Clint Eastwood memes, Twitter handle @InvisibleObama (48,000 followers and counting), and many, many tweets of empty chairs.
