Bomb explodes outside Tunisia consulate in Tripoli

A homemade bomb was set off outside the Tunisian consulate in Tripoli today. The attack caused some damage but there were no reports of casualties.
Agence France-Presse said Tunisia's consul was at home during the attack, which damaged an outer wall of the consul's residence.
The attack is the latest in a string that have targeted foreign sites in Libya, Reuters said. Tensions between Libya and Tunisia are running high after a former Libyan official was extradited to Libya this weekend.

A bomb was also detonated near the US Consulate in eastern Libya in Benghazi earlier this month. No one was killed in that explosion, Associated Press said.
