Daughter of late nurse Jacintha Saldanha, Lisha Saldanha is consoled by Member of Parliament Kieth Vaz as her family read statements to media representatives outside Westminster Cathedral in central London following a service of Thanksgiving for the life of Jacintha Saldanha on December 15, 2012.
The body of London nurse Jacintha Saldanha, 46, has arrived in Mangalore, India, for her funeral on Monday.
The Independent reported the mother-of-two's funeral will be held at Our Lady of Health Church in the town of Shirva, Karnataka, the hometown of her husband Benedict Barboza, her family said.
Saldanha's husband and her two children, Junal and Lisha, accompanied her body from London to India, AP reported.
Her death is being investigated as an apparent suicide after she answered a prank phone call at London's King Edward VII Hospital where Kate Middleton was being treated for severe morning sickness.
On Saturday her family paid tribute to her at a memorial mass at London's Westminster Cathedral.
Saldanha's children told the mourners there had been an "unfillable void" left in their lives by their mother's death, The Guardian reported.
"We will miss your laughter, the loving memories and the good times we had together. The house is an empty dwelling without your presence."My wife, you were the light in my darkness, who always showed me the way forward," Lisha, 14, said.
Barboza said he felt part of him had been ripped out.
"Without your beautiful smile and sparkling personality, the house is an empty place to live.
"Nineteen years of togetherness with a strong bond of affection and understanding will be cherished forever in my life.
"Your loss is a very painful one and nobody can take that place in my life ever again. I love you and miss you forever."
