Al Qaeda’s “Inspire” magazine reappears, tells readers to bomb Montana

"Inspire," Al Qaeda's English-language magazine, has reappeared for the first time since its founders were killed in a US missile strike last September. Al Qaeda's affiliate in Yemen released the eighth and ninth issues of the publication, boasting that it was "still publishing America's worst nightmare," the Associated Foreign Press reported. 

The eighth edition of the magazine features a five-page article by magazine co-founder Anwar al-Awlaki called "Targeting the Populations of Countries at War With Muslims," which advocates killing women and children via chemical and biological weapon attacks, in addition to bombs and guns, CNN reported. Al-Awlaki and his co-founder Samir Khan were both killed in September.

The ninth issue of the magazine seems to have been published after their deaths. "Issue 9 of Inspire magazine is out against all odds," the magazine says, according to ABC News. "The Zionists and the Crusaders thought that the magazine was gone with the martyrdom of Shaykh Anwar and brother Samir."

The latest addition gives readers advice on how to be an urban assassin and how to ignite an "ember bomb" in a US forest. It recommends Montana as a possible target.

"In America, there are more houses built in the [countryside] than in the cities," says the writer, who calls himself The AQ Chef, according to ABC. "It is difficult to choose a better place [than] in the valleys of Montana."
