Teen crushed to death by garbage truck in Luxembourg

A teenager in Luxembourg was crushed to death by a trash compactor in the back of a garbage truck Saturday.

Reuters reported that the teen was hiding in a garbage container when it was picked up by the truck.

The garbage collectors only discovered the 17-year-old boy after he began screaming from inside the compactor.

By then it was too late and he was crushed to death.

"He cried out, but it was already too late," a spokeswoman for Luxembourg police told Reuters.

The boy's name has not been released.
