Soldotna plane crash kills 10 in Alaska (VIDEO)

An air taxi crash at an airport in Alaska on Sunday killed all 10 people on board, including the pilot.
The crash was reported just after 11 a.m. at the airport in the Alaska Kenai Peninsula town of Soldotna, sending the fixed-wing aircraft up in flames, Meagan Peters of Alaska State Troopers told The Associated Press.

No victims have yet been identified.
The National Transportation Safety Board identified the plane as a de Havilland DHC3 Otter, a 20-seat plane operated by local air-taxi company Rediske Air, according to Reuters.
It's unclear whether the plane crashed upon takeoff or landing.

An NTSB investigator was en route Sunday afternoon and was expected to take over the investigation with the Federal Aviation Administration.
Rediske Air provides sightseeing charters and air-taxi services, according to a profile with the Better Business Bureau obtained by Reuters. The mountainous Kenai Peninsula, south of Anchorage, is a popular destination for tourists, fishermen and hikers.
