Sarah Palin is penning third book about ‘the war on Christmas’

Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate, announced Tuesday that she is working on her third book about…wait for it…the "war on Christmas."
The book, titled "A Happy Holiday IS A Merry Christmas," will be published by HarperCollins this coming November, the Associated Press reported. They also published her previous two books, "Going Rogue" and "America By Heart."
“Amidst the fragility of this politically correct era, it is imperative that we stand up for our beliefs before the element of faith in a glorious and traditional holiday like Christmas is marginalized and ignored,” Palin said in a statement released through the publisher.
“This will be a fun, festive, thought provoking book, which will encourage all to see what is possible when we unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas," she continued.

The War on Christmas is like alien spacecraft and true love — it is one of those things that seems to be visible only to people who already believe in it. The rest of us are baffled. Who are these people who think there’s a war on Christmas and Christmas isn’t winning? Have they ever visited a Starbucks?
"Though Sarah Palin is no longer a Fox News contributor, she's found a way to guarantee that she'll be prominently featured during the network's annual 'war on Christmas' reporting," quipped New York Magazine.
